Sandra Griffin, LPC
Sandra Griffin is a Licensed Professional Counselor who primarily works with adults, couples/families and some adolescents. Sandra has experience in working in a variety of settings - outpatient, inpatient, residential treatment and college/university. Sandra earned her bachelor’s degree from Oakwood University and a Master in Counseling Psychology degree from Alabama A& M University. Her areas of interests/concentration include chemical dependency, codependency, ACOA issues, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, interpersonal relationships, grief, and marital/family therapy. .

Mark A. Jacob, LCSW
Mark A. Jacob is a Licensed Certified Social Worker, and has been with Alabama Psychiatric Services since 2004. Mark has extensive experience in working with children, adolescents and adults; both in an inpatient program and outpatient setting. He utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, sand-tray therapy, family therapy and marital therapy.  Mark is the past board president for the Mental Health Association of Morgan County.

Patty Wilkes, LCSW
Patty Wilkes is a licensed clinical social worker who joined Alabama Psychiatric Services in November of 2009. She has over 30 years of experience as a clinical social worker, and primarily works in the area of adult psychiatry. Patty received her Bachelor's degree from Oakland University and her Master's degree from Wayne State University in Michigan. Her areas of concentration are bipolar disorder, anxiety and couples therapy. She uses supportive, insight-oriented and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques.

Melissa Vann, LPC
Melissa Vann is a licensed professional counselor, holding a Master in Counseling Psychology. Melissa is currently working as a therapist in the Madison office of Alabama Psychiatric Services. Her previous experience includes 10 years working with the National Children’s Advocacy Center, two of those years spent counseling children and adolescents who had experienced sexual abuse. Other counseling experience includes two years at a community counseling agency providing counseling to adults and children.
